This is how I clean and refurbish some of the retro consoles I get. In this vid I show some of the tricks I use to get old hardware looking nice and clean/ tidy again. I'm pretty sure I got the WD40 idea from one of Luke Morse's vids so when I find the link for that I'll post it here (*edit* Found it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mn3fYW3Tn7Q ). Either way, check out his channel if you're into collecting retro games and hardware (there's a link on my page). Thanks for watching!

Go to www.ammonyc.com to get the free Barn Find Assessment Checklist Today's story is about a true barn find. The car in question is a 1966 Porsche 912, which was last registered 23 years ago. We discovered the car thanks to our friend Roger Garbow, from Full Throttle Marketing. He had received a call about the car's discovery and immediately forwarded the info to us, here at Drive Clean. Address in hand, we turned our crews around and headed-off to a northern region of Connecticut where we unearthed and restored this classic car. Watch as we assess our find, remove years of accumulated filth and grime, and initiate the paint correction phase on this 912's "Irish Green" shell. www.youtube.com/ammonycdotcom www.facebook.com/ammonyc

In my earlier video on the overall Apple II line, I showed off my broken IIc that was the first computer I ever owned. Now it's time to sit down and repair it, tearing down the computer and rebuilding it to hopefully be as it was the day I first took it home in 1985. Will I be successful? You'll find out at the end! This is another quick video while I work on some more complicated, scripted stuff. But in many ways these are some of the most fun videos to do. This computer has obviously *not* been retrobrited - no need to tell me how yellow it is! I may retrobrite eventually but the problem is that it's a temporary solution - the yellowing always comes back after a few years. I'm still deciding if it's even worth the effort. Get your own Apple IIc on Ebay (hopefully a working one!): http...

How to restore a retro joystick.
Our camper is the smallest of three models that Fleetwing made in 1970, and they called it the "Wren." It is a true "canned ham" camper. We found it parked next to a barn in Carmine, Texas where it had been parked for the past 22 years. As you can see in the beginning of the video, we had to have "vision" for what this camper could be. The transformation took 3 months to complete (working non-stop) and it is now quite a head-turner!

This video was taken the day after towing our project home. It looks nothing like this now, and I can't wait for the day I can upload the video of the completed project!

One of the most incredible junkyards in the history of junk is Turner's Auto Wrecking in Fresno, California—and on this episode of Roadkill, Freiburger and Finnegan hit those 100 acres of vintage sheetmetal and go spelunking for gold! After considerable debate, the guys select a 1950 GMC shortbed truck that had been off the road for 26 years and jam to get it running and driving for the trip home to Los Angeles. At least there was a 50-percent victory. Watch as the guys revamp the Jimmy inline six, panic over a wrecked master cylinder, sweat their cajones off for four days, and explore one of the greatest old-car stashes ever!
